Requirements to Form a Company in Curaçao
In order to incorporate your company in Curaçao, the following steps must be completed;
- Meet the Anti-Money Laundering Requirements – To comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations, certified copies of passports and recent proof of address (such as utility bills or bank statements) for all shareholders and directors must be provided. Each Officer and Shareholder will be required to execute a Power of Attorney for remote formation, which must be notarised and/or apostilled where required in the country of signature.
- Company Registration Documents Issued – Once the company has been successfully incorporated, you will receive the official incorporation documents, including the Deed of Incorporation, Articles of Association, shareholder documentation and other corporate records required under Curaçao law. These documents may then be used to open a corporate bank account.
