Guidelines for Renewals of Internet Services

As part of our ongoing customer care policy, we will endeavour to remind our customers by email or by post of the impending renewals of domain names or other internet services at least 25 calendar days before the renewal is due using either the contact details supplied at the time of the original order or any more recent details which the customer has supplied to us subsequently.

Should you wish to renew your domain name or other internet service which you have ordered through Turner Little simply make the required payment to Turner Little ten working days before the service is due to expire. Should you not wish to renew or not respond to the reminder of renewal, the service will lapse. In the case of domain names, these will be suspended for an initial period, the duration of which will depend on the jurisdiction in which the domain name is registered. The suspended domain name will then be cancelled.

If website hosting is not renewed timely before the renewal date, the hosting will be decommissioned shortly after the renewal date, with the loss of email accounts and any emails contained therein. Such decommissioning will also result in the loss of information contained within databases where applicable and also of all website files uploaded to the server on which the website was hosted.

Although we will make endeavours to retrieve any data lost as a consequence of failure to renew in time, we cannot guarantee that this option is always available and we will have to apply a charge for such retrieval pending negotiations with any third party suppliers. We strongly recommend therefore that you back up any emails and website-related information should you elect not to renew your website hosting.

We intend to acknowledge any enquiries in respect of our internet services within four working days aiming to generate an initial response to most queries within 24 hours although we acknowledge that this may not always be possible. Upon acknowledgement of your query, we will give you an estimate of the time required to address your query which may vary depending on its complexity.

We do not charge for the cancellations of domain names nor for the transfer of .uk domain names but we will levy a charge of £25 + VAT for transfer of non-UK domain names and also for changes of registration.
